The global supply chain landscape continues to adjust. Geopolitical environments and tariff policies are driving the diversification of supply chains with a "China + 1" strategy, making it a core development strategy for footwear and apparel manufacturing enterprises. Vietnam, leveraging its free trade policies, industrial scale, and cost advantages, has become a core hub for the global textile and footwear industry transfer. To assist domestic and overseas manufacturers in connecting with the Vietnamese and ASEAN industrial chains and expanding export channels to Europe and the Americas, the 24th Vietnam International Textile & Garment Machinery Exhibition (VTG 2026) and the 2026 Vietnam International Smart Footwear Machinery & Materials Exhibition (VFM 2026) will be held concurrently. Complementary exhibitions for textile auxiliaries and dyes/chemicals will also be featured. The grand event will take place from October 14th to 17th, 2026, at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center in Ho Chi Minh City. All industry professionals are cordially invited to attend and discuss business.

Vietnam has signed multiple high-level free trade agreements, including the EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA) and the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP). Transformation Trends: The industry is shifting from a low-cost labor OEM model to ODM independent design and FOB integrated supply chain production. A large number of factories urgently need intelligent equipment and environmentally friendly new materials to upgrade their production lines, leading to strong demand for equipment and raw material procurement.

Trend 1: Intelligent Flexible Manufacturing Equipment

Current orders for apparel and footwear are characterized by small batches, multiple styles, and short delivery times, making traditional assembly lines less adaptable. The exhibition will focus on showcasing flexible production equipment such as CNC cutting machines, 3D knitting equipment, automated sewing machinery, and intelligent robotic arms to address factory labor shortages and rising labor costs, thereby increasing profit margins.
